From Atlanta Water Shortage Wiki
Welcome to the Atlanta Water Shortage Wiki. Our main blog keeps you up to date on the latest news with the drought and this wiki helps to provide background and information about the major pieces involved.
The main focus of the drought has been Lake Lanier, which feeds water into the Chattahoochee River via Buford Dam. The amount of water released by the Army Corps of Engineers is based on the minimum flow rate of 5,000 (now 4,750) cfs below Jim Woodruff Dam, which is where the Apalachicola River begins.
Like any wiki, this is still a work in progress. Please add/edit information anywhere that you think it would help.
