The only way Lanier can replenish is for the fed gov to put its foot down and tell AL and FL tough ****,take a hike. The drought has lessened south of here in GA,AL and FL.For there to have been a drought in AL,the rivers and lakes were mighty full when I drove to Dothan in Aug. 07.

Thanks, very useful statistics.

Could you update this periodically? Especially in the coming weeks?

Also, there is much discussion here about the ACE "releases". Since the lake right now is 13' down from last year, will that in any way curb releases? Lake Lanier has got to be allowed to refill or last year's premonition will become this year's reality.
