TIPS: Experts and this mom agree, severe water shortages are a reality here in the near future.... some things you can do at home:
In the kitchen reduce dishwasher use ie. use paper/plastic plates and products ( preferably earth friendly recycled = Publix / Wholefoods) if not every day maybe just 3 or 4 days a week or for some meals..... In bathrooms reduce flushes - I know stinky! but more water for the fire dept to use in the hydrants this way/shorter showers/if you can , replace all fixtures with water saving capabilites-....Laundry Room: try to cut down on laundry loads...buy a couple of big rain barrels, you can find them online and at Pikes, despite the bankruptcy, is still open for business.

Sandy Springs buys it's water from Atlanta?

What other municipalities buy their water from Atlanta? Their water intakes have to be considered when figuring out how much water Atlanta uses in a day.
