Lanier’s Christmas boat parade cancelled
The Christmas boat parade at Lake Lanier, a 12-year tradition, has been cancelled.
The reason, not surprisingly, is the low level of the lake posing safety concerns. In particular, the treetops on the lake bottom are getting too close to the surface.
