UGA asks football fans not to flush

UGA LogoThe University of Georgia did a pretty neat trick to save some water at yesterday’s game against Troy.  They asked visitors not to flush “if it’s yellow” and had attendants in the bathrooms to flush the toilets from time to time.

I have no idea how much water they saved, but at about five gallons per flush with 93,000 people at the game, it probably saved hundreds of thousands of gallons.  Well done!
