Protest at Lake Lanier is a dud
A small group of people got in the water just south of Buford Dam in an effort to prevent them from releasing water. However, the turn out was very low and it accomplished pretty much nothing. I’m assuming this is the same group from SaveLakeLanier.com?
The article at 11Alive doesn’t say exactly what happened, but it sounds like it was just a handful of people in the water, they were cited for protesting without a permit, and they left without incident.
