More rain forecast, but so far it hasn’t helped
The weather forecast is looking much better over the next few days. Accuweather is predicting 1.64 1.51 1.36 inches over the the next five days, which would certainly help.
Yesterday saw a total of 0.16 inches fall at Lanier, pretty close to the 0.2 inches that was predicted. However, despite the rain, the lake fell by another inch or two. I guess it could be considered a victory since the lake didn’t fall as far as it otherwise would have, but it continues to drop. Accuweather is predicting a total of 7/10″ to fall today and tonight, which hopefully will give the lake at least a tiny boost. We’ll see…
