White House considering Sonny’s disaster area request
According to WSB Radio, the White House is reviewing Governor Sonny Perdue’s request that north Georgia be declared a disaster area.
The White House has reportedly already started working on some temporary rules to handle the endangered species issue, which is quickly becoming a focal point of the drought (even if it shouldn’t be).
