Rain system is about over - Lanier only saw 3/100 of a inch

This hurts.  The AJC thought we’d get heavy rain and Accuweather was predicting about a half-inch.  The grand total at Lake Lanier, according to the USGS, was a mere 0.03 inches.

Over the last few days, not only did the water level not rise, it actually dropped by about 5 more inches.

Our next shot at some rain is early next week.  Hopefully that will prove to be a bit more fruitful.
