La Nina isn’t going to be our friend
The Lawrenceville Weather Blog highlights the latest release from the Climate Prediction Center, and it doesn’t look real good for us.
As we’ve been hearing for a while now, a pretty dry winter is expected. Those forecasts were based on expected La Nina conditions, which would indicate a drier than normal winter. However, measurements are now confirming that a weak to moderate La Nina has already started, making those predictions a bit more solid.
